Hosur is one of the important cities of southern India, with a history of over 800 years. Referred to as the 'Little England', Hosur has become the center of attraction because of the industrial development, beautiful surroundings and cool, pleasant climate. The town houses a number of industries right from abrasives, automobiles, bakery, wielding, wire mesh to granite. The Bangalore-Hosur highway has also been witnessing a lot of development over the last few years. The Thorapalli Village here is a small picturesque village known to be the home of the first Governor General of independent India, Rajaji. He Hill Temple is a famous religious site here. The temple’s presiding deity is Thiru Chandirachoodeshwarar (a name of Lord Shiva). The panoramic view from this hill is enchanting. A natural attraction in Hosur is the Hogenakal Falls, located across river Cauvery. The 150 kms drive from Bengaluru via Chandapuram, Anekal, Thally, Denkanikottai, Anchetty is a novel experience, as the drive covers many reserved forest areas en route. Thally, famously referred to as ‘Little England’ for its Mediterranean climate, this charming village is 25 kms away from Hosur.

Dining at Sarovar Portico :

180° : A charming Coffee Shop at the Sarovar portico serving attractive multi-cuisine foods and beverages. The Coffee Shop lays buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner and even allows guests to order as per their choice. It has a capacity to accommodate 96 guests at a time and can cater personally to their needs.

ORIENTAL: Oriental is a fine dining restaurant serving authentic Pan-Asian Cuisines (Chinese, Thai & Korean). Around 40 guests can accommodate at one time. Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurant serves meals as per guest’s choice. With a good variety of tempting dishes, the restaurant fulfills every palette.

THUNDER: The happening bar at the Sarovar Portico, Thunder is the spot to be when you need a quick refreshing drink. The Bar is always stocked with the best liquors and spirits available and the bartender I sever ready to get you the best drink. A Channel Plasma TV has been kept here for the entertainment of guests.

BLUES: Blues, the lounge bar will be opening shortly to meet our guest’s demands. A wide selection Beer, Wine and Spirits will be served in a typical pleasing atmosphere.
