Orchids : An inviting place along with the lobby, Orchids is a great place to dine while staying at The Royal Plaza. Offering an exciting menu with the choicest of Indian, Continental and Oriental dishes, the restaurant is sure to please any palette. The comforting ambience that the place affords makes dining more pleasurable here. They regularly serve buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is in fact the first place in Sikkim to lay International buffets. Apart from tantalizing meals, the restaurant also serves scrumptious breakfast. Fresh bean coffees are a specialty here and should not be missed. With a capacity to accommodate over a 90 guests, the restaurant is spacious and has the needed staff to handle every guest with a personalized service.

Aura : Completely informal and perfectly relaxing, this bar is a great place to sink down with a drink and spend some nice time. The bar is stocked with the best of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A calming music is played to keep guests relaxed and entertained. The bar even serves a good number of snacks to accompany your drink. They serve some exotic kebabs and a host of different Chinese and Continental starters. The bartender here is a master in creating the best cocktails and mocktails.

Chopsticks : A great place to sample some authentic Chinese is Chopsticks, a Chinese specialty restaurant at The Royal Plaza. Serving Chinese delicacies, the place can accommodate 24 diners and has a good ambience for a nice dining experience.

Confectionery : The hotel even affords a nice bakery and confectionary. Here they have some masters in baking creating some of the most sinful cakes and pastries. One can order from the large variety they have to offer.

Round The Clock : As the name suggests, this is the 24-hour coffee shop at The Royal Plaza. A nice place to get your dose of daily caffeine, Round-the-Clock is good for a short refreshment break. Apart form a range of coffees, they have assorted pastries, puffs and chocolates for munching.

The nearest airport from Sikkim is Bagdogra at a distance of nearly 124 kilometers from Gangtok. It is situated 12 kilometers from Siliguri in West Bengal. There is regular helicopter service from Bagdogra to Gangtok that takes only 20 minutes.

The nearest Railway Station is New Jalpaiguri that is 148 kilometers from Gangtok and takes about 4 hours by road. New Jalpaiguri is connected to all major Indian cities through excellent railway network.
